National University of Battambang (NUBB) is the largest public higher education institution in the northwestern region of Cambodia. It was established in 2007 to support the development of education and the economy in the area. History and Establishment Founded by Sub-Decree No. 26 ANKr.BK on March 21, 2007. Initiated by H.E. Sar Kheng, Deputy Prime Minister and Member of Parliament for Battambang Province. Before 2007, the site had a history as a training center for both military personnel and teachers. The university has a spacious and refreshing campus. It covers an area of 11 hectares , equipped with modern infrastructure and facilities that support the learning and research activities of students and scholars.
