Battambang Provincial Museum: A Cultural Treasure

The Battambang Provincial Museum is located in Kamkor village, Svay Por commune, Battambang province, in western Cambodia. It was established in 1963 by Madeleine Giteau. Battambang Provincial Hall: An Architectural and Cultural Heritage

The Lord's House was built in 1905 in French colonial style. It was the residence of Katathon Chhum Aphaiwong, the last Siamese governor of Battambang. In 1907, Battambang was returned to Cambodia under French colonial administration. The house was then used as the Provincial Hall and became a symbol of administrative power. Today, it has been transformed into the Battambang History Museum, displaying important artifacts and documents. Visitors from both Cambodia and abroad never miss the chance to see this historic house. National University of Battambang

  National University of Battambang (NUBB) is the largest public higher education institution in the northwestern region of Cambodia. It was established in 2007 to support the development of education and the economy in the area. History and Establishment Founded by Sub-Decree No. 26 ANKr.BK on March 21, 2007. Initiated by H.E. Sar Kheng, Deputy Prime Minister and Member of Parliament for Battambang Province. Before 2007, the site had a history as a training center for both military personnel and teachers.
