Battambang city

A small art school was first created by volunteers to help children who had suffered from war heal through art. From that small beginning, it grew into a multidisciplinary art school with a circus school, a music school, and social programs.​  Today, Phare Ponleu Selpak has become one of Cambodia’s most important art centers, giving young people opportunities to build their skills, livelihoods, and future through creativity. The Administration is one of the most important parts of the institution. The Battambang Provincial Museum is located in Kamkor village, Svay Por commune, Battambang province, in western Cambodia. It was established in 1963 by Madeleine Giteau. The museum serves as a cultural hub, collecting and displaying ancient pottery, sculptures, and traditional musical instruments from both the pre-Angkorian and Angkorian periods. The Lord's House was built in 1905 in French colonial style. It was the residence of Katathon Chhum Aphaiwong, the last Siamese governor of Battambang. In 1907, Battambang was returned to Cambodia under French colonial administration. The house was then used as the Provincial Hall and became a symbol of administrative power. Today, it has been transformed into the Battambang History Museum, displaying important artifacts and documents. Visitors from both Cambodia and abroad never miss the chance to see this historic house.   National University of Battambang (NUBB) is the largest public higher education institution in the northwestern region of Cambodia. It was established in 2007 to support the development of education and the economy in the area. History and Establishment Founded by Sub-Decree No. 26 ANKr.BK on March 21, 2007. Initiated by H.E.
